Sources w/knowledge of TAMU search process tell me Jimbo-Fisher has a deal to be next Head Coach @AggieFootball .Fisher will coach 1 final game at FSU but not Bowl game should they become eligible. I'm told his TAMU contract will be at least 5 yrs/7.5 million per year. @KPRC2

Yeah right.

More like Jimbo gets an extra year on his FSU contract and more money for his assistants.

This has been the dumbest and most entertaining coach carousel ever.

I dont have enough popcorn in my house for this.

If this IS true, he won’t do much better than Sumlin’s 8-4 average. He will be a 9-3 coach there.

But while he didn't confirm interest from the Aggies' side, he didn't necessarily shoot down the possibility when asked about it on Tallahassee's WTSM-FM.

"I never comment on jobs," Fisher told the The Jeff Cameron Show on Monday morning. "My focus right now is playing this game against ULM (Louisiana-Monroe) and playing our season."

That doesn't sound like a coach staying.

A winning record against the Mississippi schools and Sumlin would have been a 10 win coach. So... you're dumb.

He won't but I hope he does. We need better coaches in this leaguer. It remains to be seen. It I wonder if Auburn will struggle like Bama has the last two NC games due to a lack of decent competition out side of one game or so during the regular season. Bama first three and were won when they had to beat great teams during the season like Georgia, LSU and Florida who were great teams that were competing for Nc. Now the sec west champ in particular seems to almost sleep walk through the season and then play teams we except them to crush and it's a close game like Washington last year and then obviously a loss to a great Clemson team.

Jimbo will be in the toughest division in college football. don't expect him to be winning much in the sec west. He has a better chance at FSU. Thats just being realistic . Now if saban retires theres a chance.

So you fire your Coach after a 7 win season to hire a guy that must beat ULM on Saturday to become bowl eligible. I know Jimbo has won a championship but so has Gene Chizik and he would be a lot cheaper.
