When was the last time a&m beat LSU in a meaningful sport? Teams that own you typically aren't spiteful. Nice trying.

A. JFF is the most significant player in college football.
B. DWag215 should kill himself.
C. JFF will likely not make it through the 2014 season unmolested and without massive and violent trauma done to his person, both mentally and physically.

Conference?- no, NC? -no, BCS bowl game? -no.

he had a great year but lost 2 games at home and turned the ball over a lot in one of them.

Jesus man.

What in God's name does that have to do with JFF being the most significant player in college football?

Do you actually think about the topic before posting? Or do you just throw irrelevant shite against the wall, hoping the reader is just as retarded as you and therefore won't notice?

You have nothing upon which to claim JFF is not the most significant player in college football. It's a fact that he is, yet your animus prevents you from either recognizing or acknowledging that fact.

JFF's reality was a Heisman trophy winning season.

That's the only college football reality he knows.

It has been well-established that the first half of a&m's season did not count. Geez, what is your problem?!

1) That was in response to your previous unrelated post

2) How exactly are you defining significant? If you are looking at talent disparity within a team, then yes, he is the most significant compared to the rest of the aggie team. If your definition of significant involves anything to do with the quality of the player, then HELL NO.

3) You should look up what a "fact" is

The most important player in college football. The most talked about, the most followed, the most revered, the one whose every moved is meticulously scrutinized, and the one whose spring game is covered by the four-letter network.

Now, give me an argument rebutting the presumption that the returning Heisman winner is the most significant player in college football.

What you just described is most popular. If most significant = most popular to you, then yes. Congrats. He is the most popular player in college football.

You're arguing semantics.

Give me your definition of "significant." Then tell me why _____ is more significant than JFF.

just to follow the troll, tell me which player has more impact on any team than Johnny on the Ags.

Jadeveon? nope.
Mariota? nope.
Mcarron? close but nope.
Mettenbuger? HA.

I'm sure you think Tebow is the most significant NFL player then.

Obviously the on-field performance is implied in the definition. That's because shitty players never demand the attention Johnny does. He gets the attention because he's good--because he won the Heisman. This turns on my original point: A returning Heisman winner is the most significant player in college football unless shown otherwise.

You know that Tebow represents an outlier. No one has ever received the ink he does while being as bad as he's been. The guy's a polarizing figure, and the origin of the country's interest stems from his days at Florida, when he was good.

But there's no doubt Tebow was the most significant college football player during his time at Florida.

LSU fans are just jealous because the best quarterback they've had recently was Jordan Jefferson, who he led them to an embarrassing 21-0 loss for millions to watch...and because the face of their program eats grass and wears Velcro shoes.

JFF is the most significant player in college football because he won the most significant award in college football. It will be interesting to see what he can do this year losing swope and a few good lineman. Should be interesting!!! Can't wait for the season

I, for one, will be very surprised if he can match the success he had last year. I am still confident however that his average play will be better or equal to the majority of CFB's QBs elite play.

Good post! He looked pretty darn good in the spring game. Should be fun to watch
