Vandy's about to win the war against its sports fans. If anyone survives this, vandy will just re-up Mason next year to finish them off.

I don't really know if this a good hire or a bad one. I think it could be worth the gamble, but who knows? Hopefully for Vandy it turns out better than our NBA experiment with Avery...

This AD is an Affirmative Action AD. All of the candidates have been AA. Disaster city coming up. Meanwhile Steve Forbes is building something at ETSU....SMH

Im glad somebody is mentioning Steve Forbes. If for some reason Tennessee ever has to find a new coach I would want Forbes.

The Vandy AD, Michael Turner, is a Tar Heel so yeah, this makes sense.
They ought to also be looking at Wes Miller, UNCG HC, before some other program snaps him up.

That's basically it in a nutshell. Nick Zeppos and the faculty have won the war, and now they're hunting the survivors down and finishing the job. It's like something out of Necessary Roughness or PCU up in Nashville. This isn't just some principle of academics before athletics. It's outright hostility to the very notion of serious athletics. Zeppos won't even give interviews if the subject is athletic facility improvements.
The only thing missing is tearing down the gym to make room for the new Asian Bisexual Studies department.
