Jeremy Pruitt hit piece. Sour grapes from a coach CJP fired.

Unfortunately for Fair, his time on Tennessee’s staff didn’t last long. Pruitt parted ways with the former Vol after the 2018 season and hired Derrick Ansley.
At the time, it appeared that Fair was simply fired. While that was technically the case, Fair had already decided he wasn’t coming back to Tennessee in 2019 to work for Pruitt.
“Everything that went on with that program, to me it was was not a surprise what happened. [That was] one of the huge reasons that I made the decision not to stay on board, probably one of the best decisions I made.”

The whole episode was a gigantic disaster, which shouldn’t be surprising considering the hiring process that preceded.
I’m sad that fat frick is no longer the AD because that probably means that this episode is the last shitshow of this caliber we’ll see from Tenn.

Pruitt does not have the management skills to be a Head Coach at a major college job. He is a 3A high school type head coach school. I can see him being a micromanager.
Remember this Tennessee still has NCAA problems.

14 teams in the SEC would love to have Pruitt's ability to orchestrate a defense. A skill set worth north of 2 million a year as we speak.

I know it looks that way from afar. As someone who KNOWS...Pruitt was not liked by the president and Chancellor Plowman because he was a total jerk.Period. Losing and being bull headed did not help the man. When word begin to spread about what was going on(thanks to the Georgia recruit and the fact that our boy Mays came home from GA...with a lawsuit in hand no less) the administration did the right thing and began asking questions. Pruitt would NOT cooperate...bad move...then they pulled a surprise inspection as it were and hauled out records like the FBI. Now more people were ready to talk. More than enough reason to fire Pruitt. Yes, the administration hopes to save a lot of money that Fulmer has thrown around but who wouldn’t. Both sides are better off in the long run. If a person doesn’t know the difference here it’s like a wanna be coach/fan sitting watching the game we’re his team runs a 3-4 scheme and he looks and says....as to impress with his football iQ....oh look the team is playing a lot more 5-2 defense....LOL. You sound like a clueless moron. But it happens.
