You’re pretty good at this, I have to admit.

Yes. Alabama fans (and everyone with a brain) thought a healthy senior Dylan Moses would be helpful to the defense that had been absolutely awful. Totally shocking I know. But keep using that hindsight for gotchas

Are you saying you've never done this?
Should I provide links?

We only accept links from the hub.

Wasting your time. Sidewalk Tiger would argue with a stop sign

Only if the stop sign used to say "Go" but changed its mind.

What? I told you to go right ahead.

You mean who is replacing him is kind of important and it's possible to replace him with someone better(like say a senior player with playing experience), or someone who is worse(like say a true freshman who isn't physically ready for the game and 2 years later isn't starting at all)?
Groundbreaking stuff here!

Who could you have replaced him with in 2020 that you couldn't in 2019?

I simply pointed out Alabama fans differing opinions on him from year to year.
No one’s opinion differed. Fully healthy, he would have made a massive difference in both seasons.

Moody, Kennedy, Lee, and Kaho.

Why couldn't you replace him with Moody (for instance) in 2019?

IIRC Moody was a late find for everyone. I think Ole Miss was his first offer and it was after his senior year. Ole Miss felt good as long as Bama didn't offer and then they offered like a month before NSD.

Because players develop at different rates.

In 2019 we had Shane Lee starting and replacing Moses.
Shane Lee is still on the team and 2 years later is not the starter.
Think about that for a minute. Alabama was starting a guy in 2019 due to a string of injuries, and even with an entire season of experience, he is still NOT a starter 2 years later.
If you don't understand that, then I'm not going to waste my time explaining it further because you're too fricking stupid to be worth the effort.

That's a lot of deflection from a simple question:

I just find it interesting that Bammers scoff at other fans who bring up injuries yet 2 linebacker injuries absolutely crippled 2019 Alabama.
And one of those guys had barely ever played.
