If he doesn’t get hurt, he’s really going to be something special in the NFL

That is awesome. Jayden is a hell of a quarterback and seems like a good dude.

As long as he doesn’t average a concussion a game he’ll be fine

Saw this stat on TD:

The Commanders have more scoring drives than incompletions, through 4 games.

23 scoring drives
19 incompletions

If Lamar Jackson can win multiple MVP's I honestly see no reason why Jayden can't get one. Jayden is a better passer now than Lamar was at this stage.

In game 4 of his rookie year, Jayden Daniels is a better passer than 2 time MVP Lamar Jackson.

PFF has him as the #8 qb.

Thank god P diddy is no longer a problem. I was getting tired of seeing ex lsu legends in the presence of all those sick pedos!
Daniels is the real deal and I can’t wait to see him continue to flourish. Now we have 2 ex lsu qbs that just may both be in the top 5 of nfl qbs today. That’s is crazy to think about and great PR for LSU!

Ironically that was former LSU LB Travez Moore who transferred out after tallying 4 tackles in 3 years.

A kid that young wouldn't be a fan if his parent's didn't push it on him.

Daniel's is a better processor for sure. I'm amazed at his quick growth and so is everyone else. Washington got this kid a good OC and the fact that Kingsbury has learned to feature the running game in his schemes is paying off big time for Daniels. He is the biggest surprise in the NFL. Now Commanders, please do something about your secondary and soon.

You could say this about literally anything a kid does with their parents.

Sports and a favorite team
Family gatherings (used to them and love them or never takes their kid so they're uncomfortable around them)
Religion
Local Heritage / Identification (if your parents were big "We're from X" you probably are too; if they didn't care then you probably don't either)

So while you're not wrong, a kid growing up and liking a particular sports team and excited to see a player and getting to toss a ball with him ranks pretty damn low in my "parents forcing stuff on their kids"

So just let the kid enjoy the moment dude.
