The defense will be salty enough to keep us close with anyone. We just need to come alive behind the arc and we can win almost any game. Hard to keep that momentum up over several games.

I agree with this. I do believe we're a sweet 16 team at minimum though. We will see.

That's my pick also. We got lucky bc I think our side drew the weakest 1 seed for sure, and one of the weaker 4 and 5 seeds as well

I don't think UConn will beat Bama, but it will be a tight game.
UConn is by far the most likely team from the Big East to make a run, IMO.

Honestly, get past Iona and the bracket sets up nicely. Of all the #1 seeds, I think Michigan is most vulnerable out of the gate.

I'm not crazy about a second round matchup of UConn or Maryland.
Both slightly down, but they have talent and tournament pedigree.

That's kind of the bottom line.
Per the metrics UConn would be our toughest game out of the first 3. They're playing better ball than Texas or FSU right now (and have been for a month or so, since Bouknight came back).

I've seen brackets with us not losing until Gonzaga in the Final Four.
I've also seen brackets that have us losing in round 2 to Maryland.
Hard to tell how many are trying to make legit picks and how many are just trying to look trendy.
No one remembers if you pick an upset and it doesn't happen; everyone remembers if you picked Villanova to win it in 1984-85.
