Both 2017 and 2018 go much worse than they did if he were who you claim he is.
How so? Getting blown out by Auburn and lucking out that they beat Alabama as well -- meaning you get a second bite of the apple with their best player banged up and not running 100% in the game.
Getting Oklahoma, who admittedly diced up your upperclass laden defense but was built for you to beat since you had a strong running game. (Almost didn't, needed a miraculous comeback.)
Shitting the bed vs. Alabama.
Fastforward to this year.
Fortunate that the two other best teams in the East are Florida (complete team overhaul) and Kentucky (basketball team).
Fortunate that the LSU humiliating shellacking didn't come back to harm you.
Shitting the bed vs. Alabama.
Skullfricked by Texas to end the year.
Losing the #1 player of your last class + best players on offense.
To me, this is the best case scenario for any Gator fan contextually speaking. We had a few bad seasons, needed to rebuild, Georgia hires a down-syndromed bowl-cut moron who can't finish and has the exact same arch as Richt just with better players.
Thank God Georgia didn't hire a real head coach like Dabo or even just a coach with HC experience because Georgia might be unbeatable.

Except for the whole "Georgia has really good players" thing.
Opposing fans like to dismiss that part.

At least one of them was Nauta iirc. The one where he picked up the fumble and ran for a touchdown. He's gone now.

So you claim Coley was the best move..yet seems Georgia fans admit you struck out twice first before deciding to promote Coley. Seems he was a third option. He should be. His track record being a play caller is sub par.
As for UF. Our line was bad this year to start and improved. It improved with coaching. It was considered a weakness preseason and by the end of the year was a strength.
Expect the same next year. With the added benefit of a deeper receiving core, another year for QBs to learn the system, still having three very good backs. Then add in Mullen is a masterful play caller who understands how to play to his players strengths. Not worried that much.
Defense we lost some good players. Polite was the only elite one. So he will hurt but DE we aren't lacking. We lost our nickel corner, but Dean will fit fine and we get Wilson back so DBs should actually improve. The back ups Bailey and Steele are better than the two star Georgia lit up all game after Henderson went down(it's when you pulled ahead, not a coincidence).
So yes. Florida will be better next year. Very little doubt in my mind. We will challenge Georgia. We will be better overall with the whole staff returning. Jacksonville should be pretty interesting next year. Hope both teams come in healthy.

Because we probably go 10-3 and then 8-5 if Kirby was the trash you claim he is. Instead, we win 13 and 11.

We were looking for our new offensive coach to be tight ends coach and a co-oc with coley, which is what Chaney was last year.

some of you so sensitive that a coach may want to coach at some place other than UGA?
UGA fans are sensitive about pretty much everything. Frickin snowflakes of the SEC.
