it kind of looks like Enos was the target. If it was going to be Cooley, he would have been announced right after Chaney left.

I agree with this. This hire by Kirby makes sense. He keeps it in house to avoid further embarrassment after Chaney leaves and Eddie Gran said no thanks.

It was never going to be Gran.

This was the guy Jimbo tried to hire as OC last year.

Edit: I think. I might be confusing guys.

I thought it was as a position coach? UGA fans need to get together and figure out what your story really is.

Jimbo wanted to hire him as A&M's OC last year, but he stayed at UGA and received a promotion:

Kirby is not the only one that likes him.

The trolls on this forum laughed when we hired Chaney. Now they're trying to claim losing Chaney is some sort of program destroying incident. Now they're laughing about Coley. Not a single one of them could find their a-hole with a funnel.

Once again, I think Coley as OC was the plan all along, but Kirby wanted to have another coach (probably more experienced) as Co-OC, and felt no one would accept if that was the case.

He does not want to lose Coley.

Coley has had real success as an OC. It's just not a long resume.

Where did this happen? Jimbo called the plays at FSU. Coley was an absolute dumpster fire at Miami.

Who didn't know this useless piece of sh*t would show up in a UGA thread.

They averaged over 30 points a game with far less talent than he has at UGA you dumb twat, and an awful head coach. That doesn't even come close to dumpster fire territory, not that you would know that. He also significantly improved FIU's offense in his stint there. You wouldn't know that either because you're a stupid troll who is not interested in facts.

That's true, and that's why Coley turned him down, I think. Jimbo is calling plays, and I expect he always will. He is a VERY hands-on coach.
