Thru 3 years

Passing:

JR - 6625 yards
KM - 7379 yards

JR - 61.9%
KM - 57.8%

JR - 52 TDs
KM - 52 TDs

JR - 21 INTS
KM - 24 INTS

Rushing:

JR - 79 yards
KM - 1315 yards

JR - 4 TDs
KM - 18 TDs

Conclusion:

Similar overall career passing statistics thru 3 years passing for 52 TDs each. Mond with more passings yards but a slightly lower y/a

As an overall QB Mond seems to have the edge due to his athleticism. Rushing for over 1,200 more yards than Russell.

Jamarcus Russell with 79 rushing yards in 30+ games. Odd for someone 6’6 240+

I can get you wanting to talk smack to LSU, what i cant get is you using Kellen Mond to do so. I mean you can search high and low and absolutely NO ONE is going to believe that Mond is half the college QB that Russell was.

It appears that Mond also had 300 more attempts.

Also, he has a 4th of the talent Russell had.

You left out the part where Mond has taken damn near 500 more career all purpose snaps than Russell, Daniel

Passer Rating
Jamarcus Russell - 147.9
Kellen Mond - 127.8

Yards Per Attempt
Jamarcus Russell - 8.3
Kellen Mond - 7.0

Attempts per TD
Jamarcus Russell - 15.3
Kellen Mond - 20.4

Attempts per INT
Jamarcus Russell - 38.0
Kellen Mond - 44.2

TD to INT Ratio
Jamarcus Russell - 2.48
Kellen Mond - 2.17

So better passer rating, more yards per attempt, more TDs per attempt, better TD/INT ratio.

I think I'll go with Jamarcus.

That’s because he has running skill. Russell did not despite being 6’6 240+

So why has Mond thrown the ball 264 more times than Russell?
