I have to admit I thought he'd never be more than a career backup in the NFL. Dude is tearing it up this year.

Most of us felt the same just because of where he was drafted. Nobody studies harder or works harder than Jalen. He has shocked us all.

Been buying him late in fantasy drafts since he got into the NFL. Happy he is on my keeper roster

Constant improvement plus building around his strengths at Philly. He might just win a Super Bowl this year.

It’s so rare for college players, especially QBs, improve as drastically as he has. Most regress. Hurts has blossomed.

I don't watch the NFL, but I never thought he'd be a starter there. Good for him though. He was always a class act.

I always got so much shite on the Bama board for believing in Jalen Hurts from the very beginning. And no one ever apologized

Nick Saban never should have given up on the kid.

He is, but good god the NFC is dreadful. 9 teams under .500.

He's the perfect example of the importance of player being on a team whose personality mirrors the player's strengths.

All that proves is that there's a lot of disparity in the league, not that the league's bad.

Seems like he is in a system that fits him perfectly. Glad the Eagles were patient enough to feel him out and figure out the best situation to make him successful.

Oh yeah. Saban should have never replaced him in the 2nd half of the title game vs Georgia after he produced 0 points and 21 yards passing in the first half. Cue the td pass from Tua to Smith to win the game.

I thought Jalen was a good college QB, but I had doubts that he would make it in the NFL. I am glad to say I was wrong. I love watching the eagles play. I hope they go all the way.

He wouldn’t had if not for Lincoln Riley. Lincoln Riley turned him into a starting QB in the league.

He came from Oklahoma. You can’t claim him. Your coaches benched him remember? And then he left for Oklahoma where he became an NFL QB.

Hurts improved more from his 2nd to 3rd year than any time in college. That was the year that Dan Enos was qb coach at Alabama

And no, he didn’t start his 3rd year. Tua was still the more talented qb, though horrible injury luck.
