He's entertaining and I'd be glad to have him in the league. I also started feeling a bit bad for Vol fans during this and if they're happy then I'm happy for them.

I just don't see him being successful in the way Tennessee wants to be successful. His offense will put up a lot of yards, and occasionally a lot of points but they don't consistently run the ball and they don't consistently play good defense. If Grinch ends up getting the WSU head job which I think he will, that's a considerable blow. Leach has really never had much of a defense before Grinch got there.

He'll consistently make bowl games. Highly doubt he has any terrible seasons, but I also doubt he has many great ones.

A lot of my opinion is probably formed from how bad Pinkel owned him, but color me skeptical

Pretty sure Leach is more committed to the run now than in years past.

I’m OG Leach fan. Dream come true.

We will get him the talent that he’s never had elsewhere.

Question, has he EVER had anything close to the resources he'll have at Tennessee, staff budget, recruiting budget, top notch facilities?

No he hasn't and I agree that's a wild card and an advantage for him.

I'm just not a big fan of his style of play. Some guys are just better fits at underdog type schools with lower expectations.

Tennessee has used every loophole for talent the last few years and have done horrible. Tennessee isn't a program like it used to be and your coaching search is proving that.

I pretty much agree.

Leach was something at TT, but that was it.

Grinch got him some PAC 12 love, but in both he didn’t really do too much.

That being said, he should be able recruit at a better level, and know what kind of DC to look for if Grinch isn’t coming.

If he doesn’t get the right DC, forget it. Y’all will run him out in less than 5 years.

With all that being said, I look forward to him talking shite.

One of the best, he’ll have you double wides in a tizzy in no time.

Has he ever had a fanbase that expected championships and was willing to protest before a game is even played?

Leach is way to crazy for this program.....it is gonna be great watching this implode!

Crazy x Crazy = Crazy squared!

Lol our coaching search went great if it ends up with Leach.

It’s the most successful fan revolt in history. It is the Toussaint L’Ouverture’s revolt in Haiti of fan rebellions.

Certainly had nothing to do with Greg Schiano being the ADs #2 choice.

V&S is an idiot with no life that throws tantrums on a football forum. Sad.

He’s got a salient point. He competed with Texas and Oklahoma A&M, and Oklahoma State year in and year out.
