It’s too bad Alabama will have the worst championship team of the playoff era

Congratulations on your upcoming title Alabama fans, you have one great team.

It’s just a shame that a team with that much talent would lose to some of the great playoff teams of the past, all because Covid-19 took away their prep time. You could have had greatness, I really do feel bad for you.

Thanks baw. I guess Saban will have to use his NC trophy to catch his tears.

COVID-19 didn’t take away from any of the teams of the past’s prep time.

Thanks man, if Bama is fortunate enough to win the NC this year we will just have to sort out where it falls in the pecking order of the 6 they have won in the last 12 years. If it is last amongst those, then so be it.

Meh nearly half of your schedule was against first year head coaches.

Then you had historically bad LSU who fired basically their entire staff, Auburn who fired their coach, and Tennessee who seems to be on the cusp.

Aggie was a good win on paper but they're another team who was able to take advantage of a down year in the conference.

The Georgia win looks good but they were playing without a bunch of players.

Other than that, you have squeaking by Merlins & Co in a game that many predicted to be a blowout.

I’m pretty confident we won’t have to play them, but 2018 Clemson did set the standard.

Edited for the fat finger buzzed on a Tuesday post.

2028 Clemson is pretty good, but they’re not as interesting as 2028 Georgia, who still won’t have won a national championship in 48 years
