It’s time for teams to stop scheduling Notre Dame

If other conferences take the risk of getting knocked out over a loss in a conference championship, it’s high time college football forces Notre Dame’s hand to join a conference in football. Especially if the SEC is going to seriously consider a 9-game slate in the future.

I’ll just repeat this in threads like this:
We beat Pitt, just like Clemson did last night. We beat Northwestern, just like OSU did last night. So we have two conference championship wins. Next time we’ll schedule the Citadel for yesterday so we can finish 13-0 and you can stop crying.

We get them in Sanford Stadium next year. We'll finish their season early and nobody will have to worry about this shite next year.
You're welcome in advance.

I would love to play ND in a home/home.

What are you going to do? Cut block me. Shut the frick up, nerd.

ND has no interest in playing at Auburn

Not sure why so much focus is on ND not playing yesterday. They played the same number of D-1 teams as every other playoff team. When they played them shouldn't matter and playing the last weekend was irrelevant last season and the season before.

Notre Dame is undoubtably a top 4 resume and has been rewarded for having such. It was a down year for a lot of programs on their schedule, but having USC, Stanford, Michigan/MSU and their 5 ACC opponents is typically going to result with a more difficult schedule than 99% of teams play.

There was nothing similar about your win over Pitt and Clemson's.
Look, I think ND deserves to be in. But just get ready for Clemson to rape you like we did in 2012.

Norte Dame beat Pittsburgh by 5 points
Clemson murdered them
Clemson/Norte Dame should’ve been the ACC Championship game

When the current format was created it was set in stone that an undefeated Notre Dame would always be in the top four. I though everyone knew this.

You also sat on your arse last night while the ACC Champion risked injury. Join a conference or gtfo.

Weird.
Last time Tech played UK, we beat that arse.

Congrats. How many championships did that win you? Now move along.

Fair enough, and I will post my rebuttal to your weak response
7-6 Pittsburgh (barely over .500)
@ South Bend
19 Notre Dame
14 Pittsburgh
5 point win when you 3 points just for being at home
VS
42 Clemson
10 Pittsburgh
32 point win on a neutral field
CLEARLY, your first statement is false
8-5 Northwestern was barely over .667
31 Notre Dame
21 Northwestern
10 point win, played in Chicagoland, a clear ND fan base
VS
45 Ohio State
24 Northwestern
21 point win played in Lucas Oil
CLEARLY, your second statement is false
Irish barely beat 6-6 Vanderbilt @ SOUTH BEND
You gonna get raped by the Taters
Taters gonna make you cry when they have you biting your pillow.

Do yourself a favor and look at Notre Dame future schedules. They play real schedules.
I get people hate Notre Dame but most of the complaints are retarded

:kige:
Normally their schedule would be legit but this particular year multiple legit teams were playing at .500 instead of .800 to .900. I am not blaming the Irish, just saying this was the perfect storm for living and dying as an IND. instead of facing the music, the committee glossed over it.
If you can not see this, you are not stepping back and looking at it with lead pipe cruelty instead of drinking the green Kool Aid

That’s not the point. The original post implied ND shouldn’t be in due to not playing/winning a conference championship. If ND was 13-0 and played the Citadel in mid-October (instead of Pitt) and played Pitt last night (even if only winning by 5) no one would say anything.
