The loser of that game is not making the playoffs.
IF Bama loses, we know they will still make the Playoffs. Let's be real here guys.

If you can't even qualify to play for your conference title, then you have no business playing for a national title with only 4 spots available.

Period.

no,not really. I can't affect the outcome regardless of how meticulous I am about my superstitious gameday protocols. No matter how many times I change lucky shirts, the result will be what it is. So, what can I do? Certainly not worth the energy to worry over it.

Plus, placing aside any fallacious notions of the law of averages, I'm old enough to appreciate where Bama is at and what they have accomplished. As Bama fans, we are playing with house money in just about every measure under Saban. So, it is hard to get too worried or bent out of shape about the things we can't control.

It is going to be the best game of the regular season no matter who wins. Two extremely talented and well coached offenses. Great, loyal fan bases. A ton of tradition. And, a couple of CFB's most popular coaches. A can't lose for college football fans. That said, I won't be surprised to see a bit more of a defensive struggle than any would suspect, as that is how these things seem to end up after a lot of build up.

I’m not sold on OU going undefeated.

They probably have to play Texas again. Texas made that a game, and it’s not easy to beat a good team twice in one season.

I wasn't on here then so I really hope Bama loses a close one and then we have another rematch.

In 2011 we:

Beat Kentucky in Columbia (check)
Beat UGA in Athens (check)
Beat Florida in Columbia (?)
Beat Clemson in Columbia (?)

I'm liking this playing out like 2011 thing.

The committee has always said that being a conference champion trumps not being one. A 1 loss UGA SEC champion gets in over Bama and LSU.

Good lord I hope not. Its Bama/lsu or bust for the sec this year. Ga would have no hope of winning the NCG.
