It's insane to me that people are bold enough to be apalled at paying players

Reading this board it's bananas how many of you think your program is clean. Before all this happened I was really under the assumption that EVERYONE knew this was happening and was cool with it and it was just the good ol boys who profit off these athletes had the locks on the entire charade.
These past 2 weeks have been very telling, and whether you want to believe it or not, I don't really give a shite. I just think everyone needs to know so at least they can't say nobody ever said it.
Every single major NCAA basketball and football program pays players. Every. Single. One. Arkansas football, georgia basketball, fricking Baylor, SMU, Akron, Miami (OH), Wazzu, ALL OF THEM COMPENSATE THEIR ATHLETES.
I hope this whole thing burns to the ground because they SHOULD be paid or at the very least allowed to be able to make some money from their name legally. They make a whole lot of people a whole lot more than just what tuition at an in state public institution cost.

You have programs like VOLS, Auburn, and Kentucky who do things the right way by taking good fits and developing them over their careers.
Then you have programs like LSU who just buy the best recruit possible and go play street ball.
Anyone with ANY moral fiber is appalled at what has transpired in Baton Rouge

It's actually the first thing I've commented on the situation (I think anyway). I try my best to stick to in game threads and keep my head away from conjecture. But the problem is people come here due to anonymity and put out what they really feel in their hearts. And a lot of the time it's gross.

If you truly believe this it frightens me. I can't believe how philosophically different two beings of the same species can be. There is nothing moral or amoral about any aspect of if a program cheated because it's sports. The only thing that could be considered amoral is not giving student athletes what they deserve based on the revenue they bring to universities. With how many conservatives and libertarians frequent this board, the hypocrisy is overwhelming.

VOLS entire roster is 3 stars apart from a French 4* and a 4* from NC.
