The pitchers ole miss beat in the World Series included 2 all Americans and another who was the 7th pick in the draft. This narrative we had an easy path is stupid. We had to beat the 6th and 11th overall seeds before even making the college World Series. Both nc state and miss state got screwed, props to miss state for winning against a vandy team that had their pitching perfectly set up. This Oklahoma team had a better lineup than vandy tho and the pitching wasn’t that far off.
