It is looking more and more like LSU hired the wrong Notre Dame coach.

112Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab four-star linebacker Jaiden Ausberry announced his commitment to Notre Dame this week. In doing so, he chose the Fighting Irish over LSU, among others. Ausberry decided against staying home and playing for LSU, instead going to Tigers head coach Brian Kelly’s old stomping grounds in South Bend, Indiana.

I think you are right. They truthfully never liked the hire but their pride won't let them admit it.
