These 2 parties worked out a deal amongst themselves during Tuna's senior year of high school. Tuna questioned it at first, but his father beat that nonsense out of him.

One does not question $550,000 and guaranteed domicile.

But the real question is HOW do you control an NFL GM?

Asking for a friend.

Seem like a good investment to me.

Congrats to Tua!

No way in Hell we paid Tua 550k. Only Will Wade does that.

We probably paid $10,000-$20,000 for Him. Which is about what every top college is probably willing to pay for high level recruits.( Unless you’re UGA or OleMiss)

Did you miss the Cam Newton stuff? 250 grand and that was a decade ago. Terrelle Pryor more than that. 10-20 thousand is a down payment at best

It's weird how fans of a school who currently employ a head coach who was caught on tape paying players is concerned about other schools paying players.

WW is not dumb enough to pay $550k for a basketball recruit. What the Adidas guys paid for Smart is probably zero..the NCAA investigated and found nothing.

The Kansas assistant was recorded discussing $500k with Zion.

A Bama booster was implicated in paying a Memphis high school kid several( hundred thousand $ about 25 years ago. Probation followed.

Bama Georgia LSU Auburn and TAM might or might not be paying players... if they are it is boosters not coaches and it is not $550k to one player.

Lol. This isn't the 80s. QBs get closer to 200k. Trey Sanders cost more than Tua though, because he was a absolute necessity and knew it.
