Seems like both teams are fairly similar. Great defenses, incompetent offenses and good special teams.

This year's UGA team reminds me of Auburn. This year's defense is the best UGA has had in a long time - it's too bad our offense has gone completely in the shitter.

The fact that this is even a question should be cause for great alarm for the Georgia faithful. UGA’s roster is far and away better than AU’s at every position with possible exception to D-line. Veteran QB, best OL in the SEC (arguably), best RB...5*’s backing up 5*’s on D. So yeah, AU has been a bit of a surprise but the real question here is WTF is the matter with Georgia?

Auburn's terrible offensive line makes them completely incompetent offensively against any better than average defense. As such, UGA is a bad matchup for AU.

I was with you until you said good special teams. We're bad in pretty much every phase other than place kicking.

Georgia has the best defense in the SEC but if Coley doesn’t get this passing game figured out it’s going to be hard for us to beat any good teams.

Yes. Dont see Georgia scoring 66 on State or 51 on Arky

So no reason to think Georgia is remotely better outside of recruiting rankings. On the field Auburn has done much, much more.
