Is This the Most Painful Moment in Georgia Football History ?

I'm sure it hurt, but they've lost many an SEC title back in the day like this.. Only the youngsters had to have counseling because of this. The OG just compensated by spitting more on Auburn fans to compensate.

Blind crooked Big10 refs is all i remember from that one.

meh, I was born in 83 so I’m numb to the success or lack thereof for Georgia sports.

Last week at the Iron Bowl was the only other time I have ever seen the range of emotions in an opposing fan base take such a drastic turn from ecstasy to despair in such a short moment

I think the reception at the end of the 2012 SEC championship might actually be worse. Everyone knew the winner of that game was winning the NC.

Pretty impressive by Kirby to get to that game in year 2.

Yea, Penn State was just the pits. Hell, the Penn State fans wouldn't even try to rub in our faces. Didn't seem right. Was at the Cotton Bowl the next year when the Dawgs knocked Texass out of a natty. That was damn satisfying but still didn't take the bitter taste away from the year before. The Dogs had a couple of really bad losses in the late 70s against Wake Forest and Virginia that were really bad too. Got blown out at home in both of those.
