I'm not confident. At all. The fact that we are a ten point favorite is ridiculous. I've seen this movie before. I know how it ends.

Yep. I still cannot fathom why the line is still going up (-11 now).
UPDATE: I do know how betting lines work, just not sure why anyone would be confident enough to wager on TN winning by 2TD.

By proxy of playing UF early every year after beating up on MAC/FCS yeah, the Vols are always confident for the Florida game

To be fair Tennessee usually plays a tougher schedule going into the game. It is actually Florida that usually beats up on small schools early while Tennessee has an early game against a decent non-conference opponent since Florida plays FSU at the end of the year.

UF is getting 56% of ATS betting action, but the money is still in UT's favor because of a heavy influx of sharp money early on when UT was single digits. The line seems to be drifting to entice more money on UF, not necessarily because UT betting is increasing.
But, yes. 11 pts seems a lot. But, who knows. Uf hasn't exactly shined the last two weeks. I only trust SOGA+ predictors (:wink:), that would have UF as a ~4 pt dog at a neutral site. SAGARIN would have UT as a ~9.5 pt favorite neutral site, so who knows.
It's why it's a gamble.
