This one is actually close enough to have a real discussion about. Unfortunately, based on the OP, pretty sure we all know a real conversation was not the intent.
Funny thing is that if this was the most egregious call that went in LSU’s favor then this was either a really well called game or LSU got screwed by the officials.
Which was it, OP?

I have a serious question for you. You post so much about LSU did a LSU grad take your wife or did you not get into LSU or something? You are very obsessed with LSU

Wow, even the SEC refs couldn't screw that call up. Could they?

For sure, No Flag, No Foul. But dont talk about one potential and not the other

To me, yes. its obviously PI. No look back = no play on the ball, you can't significantly contact the receiver before the ball arrives if you aren't presenting as attempting to exercise your equal right to catch the ball.
the question I have is how is this technique (for defense) supposed to work. I see this all over in college and so rarely in the Pros and I just don't get it. is the CB trying to block the QB's line of sight to their receiver and make them look to another option? or is this defense dependent on the referee's simply not wanting to call PI every time this happens?
I'm being genuine here, does someone have the ability to explain this coaching?

Nope doesn’t actually touch him till the ball gets there. Not grabbing either arm or the jersey.
Nothing illegal about running alongside a guy.

well, the guy covering the receiver is an outside speed rusher. He's not exactly known for his ability to cover WRs in space, so his best option was to run stride for stride with him, which is what he did.

been said several times ITT, but this isn't a requirement. There is no rule that says you have to turn around nor is a there a rule against face-guarding.

looks pretty simultaneous to me in slow-mo. Imagine what the ref saw in real time without the benefit of slowing the play down.
But seriously, if this is the most egregious potential "missed call" in that game, then seems like the refs did a pretty good job

That is called PI on 90% of the teams in the SEC, hell in all of CFB.

You obsessed little dick sucker.

No, there is no such thing as face guarding in college football. The MSU player was not impeded from making the catch, he jumped and the ball hit the LSU player in the back.

Yeah probably. On the other hand, it wasn't a magic no call that influenced the outcome of the game, know what I'm saying.

Looks like perfect timing to me

It’s whatever the ref calls it. It’s bang-bang. Looking at it in high def slo mo it appears he made contact slightly before the ball. In real time almost any ref would call that simultaneous with no foul.
