No it is not. Receiver was jumping away from defender. If the receiver would of stopped or jumped towards the QB then yes it would of been

Know how I know you didn’t watch that play live?

I’ll give you a hint: you started this thread.

Cant be...refs only miss or make crazy calls for or against Bama or Bama's opponent at the time or to affect Bama's future opponent. Refs never miss and/or make mistakes during other games not involving Bama.

If yes, why?

I think its a fair topic. Not sure why would be upvoted or downvoted so extensively. That said, i said earlier LSU was treated well most of that game. We got the Bama treatment to a certain extent, with a lot of no holding calls. I believe its money driven at this point. 1 v 2. 2 undefeateds. You know the drill.

Right, except see the missed interference call on the end zone pass on LSU’s first drive.

You missed the sarcasm

I just noticed the offensive hands to the face. Offset penalties replay down

You think Chaisson touched him before the ball got there? Seems simultaneous if anything

What exactly did LSU ever do to texag7?

That guy spends almost all of his time bashing LSU or complimenting Alabama. It may be the strangest obsession out of all Tigerdroppings boards.

It’s a 50/50 call at best. Just like the “fumble” here.

It’s easy...

A&M sucks, LSU is really good. Quite predictably, They’re not happy with the current state of affairs ... this was not the “plan” for Year2.

There’s always next year though.

The field level view is the better view and he makes contact with the receiver as the ball hits him in the back.

Yes interesting gif really. The first time I saw it from the first angle, I was sure he mugged him. But from the other angle, you can see the ball hits as contact is made. Remarkable example of how different views can influence ones perception of the play.

Looks like he didn’t actually make contact with him until the ball hit his hands. It was extremely close but a good no call imo.

it almost looks like he got lucky and timed contact right at the time the ball touched the receiver's hands.

That, plus the WR pulled the DB into him with his hands around his helmet.

And the announcers agreed with you. Gary even went on to say that is exactly how you teach the LB to play it.

Nope.

LSU on defense = no PI

One of the more egregious defensive holdings that LSU got away with.

Look at 45 covering 7.

One of the only ones that was called.

Stingley tackling Pitts before the ball arrives.

Another defensive holding, this time by the LB.

That's just from one breakdown video, too. I can't even bring myself to watch the entire offensive series because it was very obvious that LSU's pass defense in general is just trash.

SEC lets 'em get away with it, too.

Bruh, do you really want to get into the officiating of that game because that crew let both sides play. Your center and guards couldn’t stop Shelvin for shite so they just resorted to hanging on for dear life most of the time.

Kick rocks clown.
