Yes, on the offense.

Chaisson put his hands up (clearly going for the ball)- while the WR tried to rip his helmet off.

I'm not sure he even touched the WR before the ball got there.

I'll allow it. The football gods needed to throw them a bone on a similar play after this:

I’m saying this as a football fan, not an LSU fan.

No, it’s not interference. Face-guarding is legal. If he hit him early, it was by a millisecond.

Was interference called? I don’t remember, I was buzzing my arse off.

He should have stopped.

Like I said earlier, I'm not sure Chaisson even touches him before the ball gets there. It would be absurd to call it PI if you're not even touched early.

That depends. What was the TIMING?

You don’t understand. it’s all about TIMING. Steve Shaw waits until a call will hamper LSU or Auburn at a critical moment in the game and stop their momentum. Only then will he instantaneously speak into the refs earpiece to help LSU’s or Auburn’s opponent.

it almost looks like he got lucky and timed contact right at the time the ball touched the receiver's hands.

I think so and I’m an LSU fan. I don’t mind saying the truth even when it’s against my team. I’m not from Alabama so I’m not a blind pretentious homer.

No it’s not.

The field level view is the better view and he makes contact with the receiver as the ball hits him in the back.

I just noticed the offensive hands to the face. Offset penalties replay down.
