Is this LSU case the new benchmark for stupidity in cheating?

I mean, there's dumb, and then there's "the head coach making payments to recruits directly out of his own bank account while an NCAA investigation into his program is actively ongoing" level dumb. It really takes your breath away. I can't think of anything that compares. It would be like if in the middle of the Cam Newton scandal the NCAA had turned up a check for $180,000 made out to Newton and signed by Gene Chizik. No one is that stupid, except, apparently, for Will Wade.

No. The Will Wade case is.

Yes, that's the LSU case I'm talking about. I'm afraid you don't get to disown this one.

Arizona coach did the same thing.
Apparently, basketball coaches are dumb.

Hugh Freeze was scheduling hookers with his university phone so yeah, at least one other person is that stupid.

It's an anonymous message board. I can do anything I want.

It’s tops for me. But I’m someone who was done with BP when it came out he hired horse teeth to a job in the football program. I can handle sketchy but when sketchy mixes with utter stupidity I am done.

This didn't come out a couple of years ago.

You’re program has been purchasing football players at a high level for fifteen years. You just manage to keep coaches out of it, of use your NCAA connections to cover those caught.

Yeah, everyone has known for years that Wade was particularly dirty in a sport where being dirty is the norm. I don't see any way LSU can effectively distance themselves from his transgressions at this point. That ship sailed when they reinstated him. Then he kept on cheating even after he got caught. How does the university even begin to explain how they allowed that to happen?

Is this your way of saying that Bama coaches are better at cheating?
As a serious answer I'd say, yeah, this is pretty close to the top in stupidity. I've got nothin' to defend him with.

Yeah I wish our guys would be as good at cheating as Alabama is. Y’all are the best at it and you know it.

William F. Tate and athletic director Scott Woodward wrote in an open letter. "Our responsibility to protect and promote the integrity and well-being of our entire institution and our student-athletes will always be paramount."
“…promote the integrity…” at LSU? from the fricktards that yell STTDB, Tiger Bait, and RTWFU?
Yeah, that ship has sailed…
