One more excuse...
Dawgs last two games were against gimmick spread offenses.

The worst part is that both guys are better than Te'o. And he's up for Heisman.

He is clearly the best prospect in college football

Yes, it is a joke.

Luke kuechly had 191 tackles and didnt sniff the heisman.

If you look at all the pro teo heisman stuff they say

"best player on best team"
"Great Leader"
"Great Person"

He had 4 tackles last night. it is a joke

Yeah BUT he had that one INT that SAVED the season and it's totally DESTINY man! This is destiny's team and they WILL NOT be denied! The rise of the Fighting Irish is the best the thing to happen to college football and "order has been restored".

Man frick that noise. And yeah...I'm mad.

He's been one of the few bright spots for the Panthers and I had never heard of him before the draft and its probably because he went to Boston College

The only reason the media is pushing Teo is because he plays for ND and watching them last night I would say the red-shirt QB was just as vital to their success as he was. I mean is ND undefeated with Tommy Reece at QB?

Both players are freaks and I can see the argument either way, but based solely on statistics (or statistics per game) Jones is better. Not only did he miss 2 games, he also played the triple option 2 weeks in a row . Good luck getting a sack against that.

Clowney has 2 forced fumbles this year and Jarvis has 6. Jarvis also has an INT.

Luke kuechly was a freaking machine. He is 3 tackles behind the all time career record in college and he left after his junior year.

Manziel has more forced fumbles than teo. 1-0

Clowney is a total freak physically his frame is unbelievable. He is so big and thick. He looks like the guys I used to make in Madden.

He is the kinda guy that used to play power forward in basketball that now plays D end

Jarvis missed two games and was injured the first half of the season, after the Mizzou game. Not saying he's better, but his stats are a bit depressed as a result of missed PT.
When dealing w/ players of this caliber, it's impossible to say whose better. They're both freaks.

Clowney is still playing with an injured foot and knee, and missed the Wofford game as a result, so that's no excuse. I included the per-game stats as well, and CLowney is eye-to-eye or better than Jones. Jones has 2 years on Clowney as well...

Is there a stat for single handedly winning ball games? Jarvis has 2 of those.

Clowney's sack and forced fumble of Bray sealed the UT game up for us?

Anyway stats or no stats any dominating defensive player can impact a game much more than what a stat sheet can show. Whether it be always drawing a double team or forcing a bad play, I'm sure Clowney and Jones have caused multiple plays to breakdown.

Hell I can think of 2 plays where Clowney's pressure on a QB forced awful throws that were sent right into another Gamecock defender's hands.

How would you describe Clowney against UGA? And I believe he sacked Taj Boyd 5 times last night sooo . . .

Clowney was a dominate force against UGA but we were down 21-0 before Clowney had time to get his heart rate up. Last I checked he wasn't that little shite zigging and zagging through our defense on the punt return.

Jarvis took over Missouri in the 4th quarter and accounted for 2 touchdowns. An INT returned to the 6 in line (he scored) and a FF we returned to the 5. The game was in doubt until he showed up.

I don't think I need to remind you of the FLA game.

I didn't watch USC Clemson I was too busy watching games that are relevant to the national title, but since he had 5 sacks sure he won that game. Still 2>1.

And ut was driving down the field late in the 4th and clowney sacks and strips bray. You might need to watch the USC uga game again because he was wrecking your shite...fighting off double teams and making Murray very uncomfortable. Clowney got nearly half of jjs season sack total in one game.
