Is the new narrative that LSU's D played well and wore down late due to their offense?

Because that isn't very accurate. They did an admirable job of bending and not breaking early on and didn't allow a ton of explosive plays, but Alabama moved the ball up and down the field the entire football game
1st Qtr - 144 yards (6 pts)
2nd Qtr - 176 yards (10 pts)
3rd Qtr - 146 yards (6 pts)
4th Qtr - 110 yards (7 pts)
1st half - 320 yards (16 pts)
2nd half - 256 yards (13 pts)
- forced zero 3 and outs
- Alabama had at least 20 yards on every drive
- Alabama had 7 drives of 40 yards or more
- Alabama had 4 drives of 70 yards or more

I mean if you watched the game and had a brain and came to this conclusion above, do not reproduce....

You guys called it, I thought we would lose and predicted Bama to win 34-21 but I had no idea how good your defense truly is.
That's a special team and they'll be even better next year. The reality of the situation is that everyone is playing of 2nd place.
Our defense for sure wore down but it doesn't matter Jeudy was simply too good to cover and Tua is one of the best QB's I've ever seen. Including Tebow, Manziel, Cam etc.
You guys are great. Luckily I'm in my 20's and there will be one day when Saban isn't there.

I think that argument can be made. Bama had almost 80 plays compared to 55-60 for LSU. Your definitely gonna wear down. The defense did what they needed to do, force bama to drive and not give up explosive plays, and force punts. The offense completely shite the bed and I give all the credit to bama D, didn't expect them to play at that level. I expected it to be 17-7 at half for LSU to have a chance but offense couldn't get going.
When Steve ensminger called that play action on the 4 yard line and JB was sacked, I knew it was over! Hopefully, changes will be made and LSU will go get a true OC. I'm tired of the same old song and dance that is LSU's offense. It's nothing more than mile's offense ran out of shotgun. It sucks as a fan, but the players deserve better!

LSU D was gassed on the opening drive that didn't result in points only because of pre-snap penalties.

When your offense cant stay on the field for longer than 10 minutes in the 1st half, whos fault would it be?
The TOP at have was damn near 20 minutes on bama to 10 min LSU.
That is fricking retarded.
LSU got stops. It was 9-0 with 2+ min to play.
