Baylor basketball and Dave Bliss was pretty damn bad. I mean the guy told his players to make up a story about one of their teammates, who had just been murdered, being a drug dealer

It's believed there were at least 125 cases of sexual assault or harassment at Baylor -- and possibly many more -- since 2011.

quote:

Former Title IX coordinator Patty Crawford, who oversaw all sex assault investigations from 2014 to 2016, estimated the actual number of cases may be higher.

In her two years alone, she said, "hundreds" of women came forward with stories of rape, stalking, harassment or assault

quote:

Baylor regents have said that at least 19 football players have been accused of sexual or physical assault, including four alleged gang rapes, since 2011. (Article was written in 2016)

quote:

But an explosive lawsuit filed in January alleged that the number was far higher. Based on investigation by lawyers, the suit claimed that 31 Baylor football players committed at least 52 acts of rape, including five gang rapes, between 2011 and 2014.

quote:

In response to libel lawsuits, school officials released the most detailed account yet in February.

That account, which came in a court filing, included damning text messages between former head football coach Art Briles and other athletics officials. The texts showed that Briles and others had tried to keep misconduct by football players hidden, creating what the filing called a "see-no-evil, report-no-evil" culture.

LINK
quote:

Football coaches and staff “conducted their own untrained internal inquiries, outside of policy, which improperly discredited complainants and denied them the right to a fair, impartial and informed investigation.”

quote:

In some cases, including reports of a sexual assault by multiple football players, athletic department and football officials knowingly did not report sexual violence to an administrator outside the department. Football coaches or staff members “met directly with a complainant and/or a parent of a complainant and did not report the misconduct.

quote:

The football program employed a “separate system of internal discipline,” which reinforced the perception that “rules applicable to other students are not applicable to football players.” The separate system protected football players from standard consequences and placed students at the risk future misconduct.

Not even close.
O will be fired though and LSU will have to spend a few years clawing back to the top.

Unsure. At this point I think Baylor is worse, but more keeps coming out every time I form an opinion

Considering it wasn’t just about LSU athletics
It was university wide

Plus the articles still refuse to address that LSU has dealt with things much better recently
Several players have been booted recently and even drake Davis was kicked off team it just took longer than it should have

This is easily number 2. Baylor's sexual assault issues under Art Briles makes a strong case for #3.

Oh yeah, if you add the Bliss stuff in, Baylor is definitely number two with a case for number one

Yeah, it is/was a system wide failure at LSU. When a research student gets stalked, harassed, locked in an office with a pervert LSU instructor while he exposed his dick to her that’s institutional failure. LSU pulled the a-hole’s tenure and turned around and gave it back to him a few years later, which was idiotic in and of itself.

shite been bad at LSU for a long time. Every member of the Administration that had knowledge of the shite that was going on should be fired immediately.

At Penn State they had a coach raping boys and showering with them in front of other coaches. I don't think we're close to that.

I'm thinking Baylor - Bliss covering up murder
Penn State - absolutely sickening
Baylor again - systemic failure with the coach serving women as treats to the team

I think LSU might get an upgrade at the HC position if coach Orgeron is fired.

Penn St stands alone as the worst of the worst.

LSU is just part of the crowd of schools that have had similar issues. LSU having them in 2021 when this stuff is being used by all kinds of groups to attack college athletics. LSU screwed up but this is being magnified in today’s political climate.
