Yes it is. CBS Sports Network, TNT and NFL Network televise their games. Some will be streamed too.

and yet, ESPN wants to pretend like it doesn't exist.

Sportscenter showed the highlights... It's hard to watch.

Not hard to find, just hard to watch, the quality of the game is terrible.

With them not broadcasting games and a nascent fan following, AAF being put on the back burner is to be expected.

I imagine it’s going to take these guys time to build some type of chemistry. It won’t ever be at the quality of the NFL or even high level CFB though.

Why would Espn be discussing a lower level football league they have no broadcast rights to?

This. It’ll most likely get better with additional game experience, but if you’re expecting NFL or P5 quality football, you’re going to have a bad time.

Mostly it’s just a good filler during the football doldrums that are the late winter/spring, give the Tebows and Manziels and others that aren’t quite NFL quality a place to play and help some guys that may not get noticed otherwise get a crack at an NFL roster.

The broadcast format is great though. Felt a lot more streamlined with fewer commercial breaks.

Why does everyone think this is going to be bad player playing football? Plenty of these guys were among the best players on their power 5 teams. They just weren't good enough to be an NFL starter, or are no longer good enough to be an NFL starter.

I thought it was a better product than CFB. Don't shoot me.

Why wouldn't it be at P5 quality?

The majority of the guys playing in this league were really good college football players playing for coaches with high-level experience.

Hopefully it becomes something like Euroleague for basketball. Something that's not quite at the level of the big pro league but is still a really good product where the players can earn actual salaries.

Mediocre skill position players, particularly at QB, combined with a total lack of continuity of scheme.

Good P5 teams have guys that have been in the system for years, and a few guys getting ready to leave early for the draft.

You're never going to have that in the AAF; anyone with potential will be on a practice squad this fall.

And it seems like Spurrier is the only guy with the sense to install a fun offense. Nobody wants to watch a minor league defensive struggle.

They've only had 1 month of practice, so yes, it's going to take a minute.

Atlanta got whopped by SOS. The coach of the Legends went for it on 4th and 1 at his own 30, with 30 seconds left in the half. The receiver dropped the ball and that gave the ball back to Orlando and they scored right before the half.

The Atlanta coach should be fired today for malfeasance!! What a dumb move.

I mean -- most of the guys getting time at skill positions were studs in college, in P5 programs. Trent Richardson obviously, but there's also guys like Mekale McKay, Jalin Marshall, etc. There's more good P5 players than there are spots in the NFL. Maybe not enough to fill out another 32 rosters, but maybe enough to fill out 16 or so.

You have a point about continuity of scheme, but that's a problem that could be fixed within a few years. The talent is there for a secondary football league.
