Is Tennessee’s ceiling gonna be as the 3rd best team in the East?

I don’t see them ever surpassing UGA or UF.

Still mad Pruitt and Guantanamo dragged their nuts at JHS?

I think you're right. Tennessee isn't a great state for recruiting, and if Pruitt gets them to a respectable level, he's going to replace the Dark Lord in Tuscaloosa.

What will the excuse be this time when Auburn loses to Tennessee at home, yet again

UF is building a dominant defense.
But an average offense can still let games slip away. Tennessee will still have a chance to upset Florida.

If Harrison Bailey works out and they find some playmakers at WR UT could challenge for the east. Pruitt is essentially like Smart in that he’s an elite defensive mind and recruiter. Like Smart, he’ll have to find the right OC and update his offense.

And drug their nuts with a bad football team...The same team that lost to Vandy.

Tennessee has the facilities, support and fanbase to compete year in and year out for The East. Their issue has been bad coaching hires. Everything else is in place

Chaney is the right OC (was for Smart as well imo).

I think chaney is capable. But I also think you are overpaying for pumpkin jr.

Idk. It required 2 first round NFL backs returning for their senior season to be great. I just think a spread can do more with less and it certainly has less issues putting a team away. At a certain yards per play spread offenses just go nuclear, which is something a pro style offense just can’t do. I think Chaney can lead respectable offenses, but not championship winning offenses.

That can be said for many schools.

Still have a chance to upset us...haven't they beaten you far more often recently? This high and mighty nonsense is hilarious.

Chaney is a moron. He has passed his expiration date. Chubb, Michel, Swift, Ridley, Wimms, Nauta, a qb who did not turn the ball over and an elite defense was how we did it in 2017. It did not require a genius to call those plays.

Well you scored like 50 pts and had to goto over time against ou. It seems your defensive guy let you down in the big games it mattered most.

Chubb and Michele willed it to happen with several long runs and one play td drives of 75 yards another 55 yards and several other td runs. Don't take a genius to hand the ball to first or near first round picks.
Once the defense started stunting and blitzing near the half, they shut ou down the rest of the way.

Iirc Coley tried that last year and it didn’t work as well.
Not sure why
