Not trying to jump on the dog pile, but given the SEC Powers that be left them out of the loop, it's hard not to look at it that way.

Been on a few Aggie boards I never seen anything like this. It easily surpassed the "21-0" melt occasional silver linings Aggie posters but for the most part it's doom and gloom.

The fact you're bringing LSU and Alabama posters together because of how they are acting is telling.

Maybe to qualifications for getting into the SEC were lower back then.

Has it ever been customary for the SEC to inform and consult with individual schools about admission of new members before a formal vote has been agreed upon?

Honestly Sarge you guys will be okay, y'all are in better position than 15 years ago. Plus y'all have probably a 2 year window on Texas.

I’ve never seen the majority of the LSU fanbase sound like they’re scared of competition. At the depths of Les Miles refusing to run a 21st century offense, on the balance most still thought LSU was going to whoop Bama’s arse this time even if they couldn’t score points with their offense.

Half the melt here was fabricated by trolls

But the melt on TexAgs premium board would rival 21-0

It's no secret the SEC takes care of its bell cows.

A&M isn't one.

(Neither are my beloved Razorbacks.)

NO! It's been an illusion like Trump didn't win the presidency.

I'll let you figure out how stupid your question is.

They’re weak and they’re reaction was telling.

They can say whatever they want but they fear Texas.

I don’t get it honestly but their constant bitching and moaning and pretending like theyre going to leave the conference screams fear.

I do think that 5 universities carry substantially more weight in this conference than the others though. Bama, Auburn, LSU, Florida and Georgia.

Theyre already trying to remedy this by forming a West alliance in another thread. I will say it’s very smart of them.

Man...my eyes have been opened not even trying to cozy up LSU posters. It's not even official yet and we get this offseason treasure trove.

This is the correct attitude. Bringing em back will let Aggy cash some past due asswhippings they missed out on for the past decade.

What seems really ignorant is for posters on this board to act like A&M in the SEC hasn’t been a big advantage vs Texass 90 miles away in Austin and now trying to say A&M trying to keep the SEC advantage is anything other than that… an advantage of being in the SEC while Texass flounders in the B12.

Don’t blame A&M one bit. Personally I like playing Texass and OU. I’m not A&M, just a former student and fan. This is a major lifeline to Texass that originally wanted to join the PAC because they thought themselves above the ignorant fricks that populate the SEC.

Maybe they were right… idiocy seems to be reigning supreme around here at the moment.

So you're basically saying TAMU had a 12 year head start while Texas is/was floundering around to build recruiting pipelines and relationships? You're saying that Johnny Football magical season... grinding y'all way to respectability over the past decade and doing so in the toughest division in sports means absolutely nothing?
