Man, Bama would suck again if that happened.

They might make a play for Oeaux to save face.

No way in hell. He’s a pussy who wants an easier road to success than 99% of his competition.

He's clearly not good enough to win in the NFL.

I bet Ed O could do it

It's not gonna happen. Does not matter how much money Haslem throws at him.Although with all of the young talent the Browns have , it would be tempting

There's a reason why the Browns have sucked and run through lots of coaches......it ain't the coaches

I doubt it, Saban can't hack it in the pros

Small ownership stake is part of the offer.

Wink wink

Y'all wanna see a fanbase that has been completely destroyed by one man?

Look at all of the Saban to the Browns threads by LSU fans.

Amazing, really.

Even if it happens Dabo will be welcomed home. Then worst case scenario we win every other year.

Dabo ain't coming in after Saban. Whoever comes in after Saban is committing career suicide.

Why would he do it:

Money? He can extort as much as he wants out of Bama.

Power? Whether you believe the conspiracy theories or not, he has a lot of clout in the SEC, and certainly in Bama. On the other hand, you do get the sense that Sankey is trying to stand up to him.

Location? I can't imagine Cleveland being a huge draw.

Pride? This is the only thing I can think of. Saban failed as a pro coach. Maybe he just wants to "keep improving."

Stress? This could be a factor. As a pro coach, he is not constantly on the recruiting treadmill. He'd have access to top talent that he could keep for more than four years. Being a pro coach might actually be less stressful, particularly during the off season.

Must mean the NCAA hammer is about to come down for 12 years of recruiting violations, paid refs, paid players, roids, Dodge Chargers, and collusion.

You'll know differently in three years when Saban's Browns win the Super Bowl, then he retires with a 5% ownership stake plus a hefty Draft consultant fee.
