No, Napier was thought to be a legit hire.
Florida’s problems are deep and will require a BK, Smart, or Saban type hire to fix.

Yes, but the major difference is that Napier at least built ULL into something. That's no small feat.
What program has Jimbo built?

I think Billy is a good coach and should be given a couple years to get things together. Their roster was depleted of talent, particularly on defense and at some skill positions. I still don’t know if Richardson is the answer at QB or not. They have a very good recruiting class coming in. My only real issue with Billy is his involvement in the offense. This goes back to UL too. He’s not the greatest offensive mind and needs to really let a solid OC go to work. He had some pretty big talent disparities in many of the games with UL yet games would be inexplicably close.
