No, not at all.
Any slapdick could take over at Wazzu and accomplish the kind of improvement he has. Same for what he accomplished at Texas Tech.
Not sure why those schools hire coaches at all. They could surely just pull a student out of the stands each week and give him the headset, as winning at those schools is comparatively easy, unlike most places.

Inexplicable upsets happen in college football every season. They're part of what makes the sport so compelling. Yet there are countless palsy victims like yourself, who each and every year react as if it's something unheard of, and then proceed to draw a conclusion regarding a coach/team based off one game, as opposed to, well, his entire career.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there are an awful lot of inquisitive idiots.
Like yourself.
