Here in Los Angeles, he has a bad reputation. On set, he's known for not bathing nor wearing any kind of deodorant/cologne at all.

Listened to his audiobook Green Lights recently. I kind of like the guy. Sure beats the hell out of most of Hollywood. At least he’s not afraid to go against the flow.

Meh - I understand the irritation at all things Longhorns - but I've enjoyed pretty much every movie the man made. And I get the impression he would not be a raging douche of arrogance at a tailgate.
