La Tech has another solid squad and ULM is 2-0 in Sun Belt play. Discuss

La tech lost to miss st by more than lsu I think.

We will see, but it could be a neck and neck race til the end of the season.

LSU hired a coach that no other school in the state was interested in.

LSU lost by 30, Tech by 36, one was in Starkville one was in Ruston. The Troy-ULM game may be what decides this

Louisiana Tech was better than A&M and we played them in back to back weeks. I know we lost to A&M but LT was better.

In all seriousness, I think they are better than LSU this year.

Being the best in football in LA this year is like being the tallest midget.

Yeah, you are probably right. Guess this is finally your year. Congrats on finally beating the tallest midget.

With how weak you are up front this year and how huge Eaux is you might need four guys, but it's gonna happen

Good point. Guess you will have to settle for LSU instead.

We had like 4 turnovers and a blocked punt turned touchdown. It was not a good day. :'(

I bet ULM plays us closer in JHS than LSU does in Tigah Stadium

Only way Troy and ULM will play is if they play each other in the Sun Belt Championship at the end of the season. They don't play in the regular season. What strikes me is that ULM could be in a bowl game at the end of the year and LSU will probably not be playing in a bowl game

Ooh stats, lets have a little breakdown of the past 3 weeks: LSU played @MSU, Saracuse, and Troy while LaTech played @WKU, @USC, and USA.

LSU has averaged 21 points for, 29 against. Went 1-2.

Latech has averaged 24.33 points for, 18.33 points against. Went 2-1.

For the heck of it, ULM has avged 41.33 for, 40.33 against. They played USM, @ULL, and Coastal. Went 2-1.

This is not trying to say one is better than the other, we are looking at trends. LSU is trending down. LaTech is overcoming early turnover problems and is trending up. ULM overall played a weaker 3 teams, but at least is scoring points on the very bad teams. Too bad they arent stopping the other teams. Overall trending up, but likely to level out when they play someone with better defense than ULL and Coastal.

I can go further, compare B2B weeks of MSU vs the two LA schools:

Latech total yards: 315 (with the -87 MSU soccer play included). So really 402. 3 turnovers, blocked punt. 459 yards by MSU, 1 turnover, blocked xp.

LSU total yards: 270 total yards. 0 turnovers. 465 yards by MSU, 0 turnovers.
