I know LSU was a borderline tournament team entering the SEC tournament but I think they've removed all doubt. Ole Miss is starting a reliever who started a couple of midweek games early on. Seems odd to start Hilliard, who only threw a few days ago and will throw again in an actual game that matters in a few more.

Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all of the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.

man, he'll get 5 days rest after tomorrow. that's more than enough. LSU manages their pitching totals very well throughout the year.

They haven't announced a starter. But Hilliard would make sense. Nothing wrong with pitching on a Sunday then next Saturday.

LSU has nothing to lose. We aren’t going to make a serious run this year.

Might as well try to win the SEC tournament for the Seniors/Juniors.

Hess/Hilliard will still be on 5/6 days rest next weekend regardless

Just sit back and enjoy watching the Tigers tomorrow. Can’t question a team that’s always in the championship

He would probably be scheduled to throw a bullpen anyway. I am guessing he will be on a pitch count unless he is rolling like Hess was today.

If you're LSU baseball, in 2018, you win once in a while.

LSU takes this tourney more seriously than everyone else. I didnt see them getting out of regionals before this but they’re not helping their chances.

Why? Hess and Hilliard would be in full 5 days rest.

Ok. Glad you're looking out for us. It's not like LSU does this every damn year and has made it to Omaha 18 times since the late 80's.

LSU takes winning seriously.
