Many Bama fans say no, but how do they explain this sign then? Why does it say LSU instead of Auburn or Tennessee?

In their heads

A division rival that’s become a very important game in recent years. Winner of the game usually has the inside track to the SEC title game and a playoff spot.

Also, they had many of those signs in Ttown. They would say different things. I saw one that said Auburn fan. It’s all in fun

Big game, important but not a rival. Tennessee and Auburn are Bama’s historical rivals.

I think all SEC West teams are rivals in their own way. But, LSU is never gonna be a true rivalry like Auburn or Tennessee.

Fair enough. I just got a kick out of it when I saw it.

No doubt. I was just trying to stir a little something up. They aren’t biting though. Too disciplined I suppose.

Oh I bet so. It’s little things like that that make college football so much fun for us fans!

I didn't like Bama, but to me it was just another usually important SEC game before 2007. Once Saban leaves it will probably lose most of its heat. It's not like the Iron Bowl which is a huge game for both of y'all regardless of records. Old Mrs is LSU's only natural rival

Because LSU fans are the ones that smell (like corn dogs).

You’re probably right. Saban brought a spark to the series. Hopefully it will be a hot series for years to come; I love our games.

As an objective observer it’s clearly

1. Bama vs Auburn

2. Bama vs LSU
3. Bama vs Georgia (May not play enough to be a rival but seems to be much more interest in this game than Tenn)

4. Bama vs Tennessee

Huge game, maybe even a “foe,” but not a rival. At least not in the way Auburn and Tennessee are. I don’t like LSU, but I don’t have the type of pure hatred for LSU that I have for Auburn and Tennessee.

Meh. We don’t consider them a rival. Just another exciting regular season SEC game.

They’re 2020 Roadkill. Just another one of fifteen games we play to NEW LSU STANDARD
