Steele arrived in Auburn in 2016 when Gus was on a downslope

2013 - 12 wins (2 flukes)
2014 - 8 wins
2015 - 7 wins

Steele arrives and they go to 8 wins in 2016 and 10 wins last year. In their 10 losses since Steele was hired Auburn's offense scored:

13
16
7
12
19
6
23
7
27
21

Why did Gus get a huge extension and not Steele?

Because Steele didn't want to go to Arkansas like Gus did

Take away all the crazy lucky plays they have had and they score even less.

Auhurn sucks. LSU should have beat them by 20+

Steele has done a very good job but I still maintain that Muschamp started the defensive turnaround in 15. That defense finished much better than how it started.
