I honestly don't see why the conferences have a say in refs or reviews at all. It's an NCAA matter and the NCAA should provide all referees and reviews at a centralized location. Keep the conferences (and whatever interests they may have) out of it and standardize it.

Not a melt the SEC is not the only conference with ref problems and a national referee base could use refs not living in area of the teams they are officiating. Seems to be a better way to avoid the appearance of bias!

Should LSU focus more on winning instead of excuses for why they are not winning!
Is it time for LSU to recruit and develop a national title caliber QB!
Should LSU have made a serious coaching hire with a national search instead of taking the easy route and hiring a popular local boy!

It's the appearance of bias that's the problem bad calls happen all the time but if a Louisiana resident ref makes a bad call in a LSU Bama game is it worse? I think it is, just my opinion!

This has nothing to do with the state of officiating! What about the appearance of bias calls against other teams?

Where is officiating not dog shite? NFL folks hate officials there, every other conference hates their football officials, we all complain about NCAA basketball officials.
Those guys do this as a part time job and don't make much money from it. While not making much money, they are dealt stress at a level I can't even imagine and have to deal with an entire crazy region of the country accusing them of God knows what and trying to figure out what they ate for lunch on January 18th of their 10th grade year of high school.
Sounds like an awesome way to attract the best talent.

If the NCAA had any backone this would have been done long ago. Honestly we should have a bunch of immigrants and give them job training to be refs. They wouldn't give a shite about any of the teams.
