It's not hard to understand. Moorhead didn't walk into a bama team after Saban retired.

As much as I like my friends at MSU and the team being elevated, it was not the situation you make it out to be.

- Mullen was not what you guys now paint. 9 seasons total. 4 of those you had to win the last 2 games to make a bowl. 1 of those you went to a bowl with a LOSING FRIGGIN RECORD. Moorhead did not step into a Bama situation.

Yet the few posters here act like he did.

- Tell me how any coach walks into a new team that has a 52% passer, lost the top 3 receivers, lost 5 of the 10 WRS of the Roster that had SUB PAR wrs to begin with is going to light the world on fire?


Better yet, explain to everybody why this year was not a rebuild with experience. He went out and did more than MULLEN would have to get people for his system.

- You lost a ton of players to the NFL and graduation... A MULLEN issue he created every 2 years.

- You lost your up coming leadership to suspensions. Autry, Gay, Murphy, and one WR that was BADLY needed. You lost your back up QB.

- you lost your starting QB in game 2 and resorted to calling the kid names. That's pathetic. The kid took shot after shot yesterday and got up. Injuries happen.

- You have had zero cohesion on the OL due to injuries . You have not been able to REDSHIRT players due to injuries on the team with Mullen recruiting gaps, suspensions, and injuries...


You guys lost you once logic and are quickly becoming UF wannabes.

Mississippi State is very scary now.

I expect them to score SEVERAL TOUCHDOWNS against Alabama.

I'm very scared.

1- They were the number 1 defense because of.... wait for it, the Moorhead staff. You could have gotten a coach in like the guy that went to Louisville. So give the man credit for his hires.

2- No. I don't think you had the players for a Coach that runs a RPO offense and done "better". You lost 4 regular season games to the #1, #5, #7, #12.

- Dropped pass caused you to lose to #7.

- You beat #8, and #16....

That's with the whole picture of a 52% passer in an RPO with losing your top 3 receivers and 5 of your 10 WRs prior to the first snap of the Moorhead era.

NO.. I don't think it, I know it. You are not going to just run over everybody in the SEC. With out a passing attack stretching the field, you will never better your chances at winning. That's why he was hired.

When was the last time you beat us? Never under Mullen. Look at his record vs ranked teams. But I know a Ms coach that DID beat us. And he ran a friggin RPO. Which is why he got the WR talent and not Mullen... your own damn back yard and Mullen could not keep him!

- Stevens went out after the 2 possession. you know it and everybody here knows it. He has not been healthy. Injuries happen. That's not on moorhead. At least he went out and got QBs to fix the problem in his system. And they have produced as much as Fitz under Mullen's last year with 4 games left.

- Your OL.. I will simply ask you how many returning starters on that line? Follow that up with how many OLmen went down in the first few games and how much more that hurt any cohesion.

- Your defense did well against UT. You allowed 20 points, but even still... cohesion in the DBacks was an issue. Ms St is not a plug and play team this year, nor 60% of the years.

But your offense was the issue.
