Is Georgia in the Playoff no matter what? Does that affect their focus vs Alabama?

It seems that Georgia is in. Does that give Alabama a psychological edge?

Yes they are

I seriously doubt it effects anything. They seem like a pretty singular focused team and this isn't just any regular ole game to them.

Unless they lose by around 70 and kirby assaults a ref, I'd write them in with a sharpie.

Effect is a noun.
Affect is a verb.

Nah. Kirby is all about image. He’s been recruiting kids with the “we’re the new Bama” bullshite for years. He’s finally going to have his opportunity to make a statement against daddy Saban and move out from under that shadow.

No. Kirby’s taken it on the chin from Saban the last few years. He’s gonna bring the pain Saturday.

Georgia can lose by 28 and still be in the Playoff, likely as the #4 depending on how others do. UGA has done enough to be in the CFP no matter what happens in Atlanta.

Yeah they're in the playoff regardless.

It's possible they aren't.

If by some strange miracle Alabama won big and Michigan, Cincinnati, and Oklahoma State all win, with Cincinnati Ohio and Oklahoma State winning big I could see Georgia left out.

It's probably a significantly less than 5% they get left out

Maybe significantly less than 1% but greater than 0

All year long, they haven't wanted to just win games. They've wanted to wreck other team's seasons by thumping them in victory.

They want an undefeated season.

Georgia wants to win the SEC and beat Bama to do it.
