I would only want Swinney if we struck out on everyone else.
He’s done nothing impressive without his two generational QBs.

Dabo is an overrated coach
I would buy the argument that Clemson being the top of the ACC recruited itself on name alone due to poor showings from all other members. Kids that wanted to win a championship choose that school so you get a talent advantage.
But even then someone had to start the process and the kids don’t coach themselves.
I would put Dabo in the elite category for being able to manage that machine scandal free.

I'm hearing that all the non-denominational mega churches in the Opelika metro area are lobbying for Dabo.

You know, I wonder.. the only thing I think that could cause this isn’t t a raise, but the impending B10 and SEC expansion and TV deals. The ACC is screw’s for the foreseeable future in a TV deal. He may see the writing on the wall.

he has won multiple National Championships at Clemson…something Brian Kelly couldn’t do at Notre Dame.
Dude, Notre Dame has a 19% acceptance rate vs Clemson which has a 62% acceptance rate. Kelly would have multiple NCs if he coached at Clemson and I promise you Dabo would have 0 NCs if he coached at ND. Consider all the information prior to posting an ignorant take.

Sounds like he’s headed to Oregon.

This post reeks of insecurity, since you know Clemson will return to its pre-Dabo level of success as soon as he bolts.

If Dabo isn’t talking about Clemson he’s talking about Alabama. I just can’t see it. I really don’t think he likes Auburn.

Reads the op. Immediately goes to taternet to troll.....
Got called out on Tatetnet for starting a troll thread to post this rumor.
The only problem is/was was that the thread my "t-net alter" (I have no t-net alter) was accused of posting was about 4 hours younger than this thread. Those taters aren't a very smart bunch...
On a serious note, I hope these rumors swirling around Dabo persist into next week. I would simply LOVE this to be a distraction before our game next week. We can use all the help we can get.....

Not sure we want Dabo, but he is a premier coach. Does he want to wait and follow Saban? Doubtful. Auburn's NIL, New Facility and the SEC national profile and SEC TV money are attractive.
Remember, he has only a small chance of making the Playoffs at Clemson with 1 loss.

No. I seriously doubt it.

Look up Dabo's contract. It has the Anti-Alabama clause in it. Dabo's buyout is reduced (by about 25% IIRC) if he leaves for Bama.

He’s a made man at CU. The last 2 seasons have put a damper on Dabo. He’s still an elite coach but has found out you live and die by your assistants and your QB

If he hadn't gotten banned, I would summons that crazy Tennessee fan back to run your side walking arse off again.

never underestimate DS's need to have microphones and cameras put in his face to stroke his ego.
this 'report' of his representatives talking with AU 'about its job' will give DS the perfect chance to answer questions at a halftime interview/post-game presser about the 'rumor' and give him a platform to claim he's perfectly happy up in Pleasantville and how great things are - while claiming AU was just seeking his opinion on 'who' or 'what kind of coach' could be successful there.
he doesn't get that chance weekly in the ACC and he'll use this to get attention for his program that is largely forgotten during the regular season due to the conference in which it resides.
