They chose the Alabama game with A&M to allow Gary to get his Alabama fix early in the season

The Texas market alone for aTm vs Bama is bigger than the entire national market for AU/Ga. CBS knows what they're doing.

If they didn't pick this game, the best program in the SEC would not have been on CBS for the first three weeks of the season. Of course what CBS should have done is pick Bama/Missouri instead of the game with two middle of the road SEC teams and then scheduled Auburn/Georgia for this week.

Alabama has always gotten the best tv ratings regardless of who they're playing. Comes with being a national name brand, America's team.

I wish we were back on ESPN with McDonough & Blackledge calling the game, instead of listening to Gary Danielson.

Because people buy into the false narrative that A&M is good... every single year.

I’m torn now on wanting CBS. Overall production quality is better, but Danielson can get annoying, and they are consistently at least 4 hours long.

I’d rather have Herbstreit and Fowler, prime time ESPN matchup.
