No. There are a very, very small number of people who can recruit well enough and have the right kind of energy to turn Auburn into a respectable basketball program.

Auburn had made the NCAA Tournament a total of 8 times in their entire existence as a program prior to Bruce's arrival.

Let that sink in, and then ask yourself whether or not he's overrated.

You damn right...Auburn is overrated. Period. The posters on here said they moved on from football and were now a basketball school. And that’s worked out, well....kinda like their football program. Best 8-5/7-6 teams in the country.

No. It’s hard to win at Auburn.

Pearl over coaches basketball more than any else out there. It’s a show he puts on.

I think the Pearl experiment at Auburn is over.

Bad take after a tough home loss. He’s still a top tier coach in the league and nation. For some reason his team doesn’t match up well against Ole Miss this year. No reason to think he’s overrated.

Yeah, but the word "recruit" should be in quotation marks.

Like someone else suggested in another thread, he may be thinking about getting the hell out of there, so he can go somewhere far away, like the west coast, so he can "recruit" the way he is used to doing with less FBI agents staring him down the puss.
