Hopefully he adds to those numbers this weekend, we'll need him.

It's gonna be an interesting weekend... For us to take 2 of 3 we MUST find a way to win Friday.. I have no confidence backdooring you guys Sat and Sun with Sam Smith as our third starter right now... They are bringing Ellis (original sunday guy)along really slow.. He's got a huge ceiling but he hasnt been able to shake this abdominal injury.

Lot of unknowns this early in the year, just glad we are at home.

Killian has a lot to prove and I could see him taking a loss similar to his ASU start, 2 earned runs but took a loss because of our bats.

Wahl could absolutely dominate our lineup and no one would be surprised, but Killian could have his own success, we'll see.

Feel good about Stanek on Sunday, and Fant is a great lefty for Saturday that throws offspeed junk all over the plate with plenty of experience.

I'm actually looking forward to Fant/Mayers moreso than Killian/Wahl if you can believe that.. Mayers has been our most dominant pitcher by far... Bobby had a blister and a cracked nail back to back weekends and walked a shite ton of guys... The nail fell off and the blister has 100% healed so hopefully his command is where it needs to be this weekend.

Hard to believe, but Saturday is the more pivotal game.

I know the answer is obviously no. Actually curious as to everyone's best freshmen. I feel comfortable already saying that Bregman is the best shortstop at LSU since Aaron Hill.

Hasn't even started SEC play yet. Wait and see what happens mid way through the season. Too soon right now. But he does look great. Still too soon though.
