Is Bo Nix back in the Heisman conversation after going 20-22 for 275 yards?

Marked improvement via an actual QB coach... Let’s not get ahead of ourselves... we’re just glad to have a competent staff

And the hope they can reverse whatever it is that Gus does to QBs.

Gus seems to think that it's unacceptable for anyone other than him to get credit for the success of his quarterbacks. Meanwhile, he hasn't quite figured out that if they can't manage to be successful, he's still 0-fer in the credit department either way you look at it.

Yes. But also, the Heisman conversation is practically useless after week 1. So in another way, no. But neither is anyone else.

They have first shot at one of the fng's. They don't care about ya'll right now, or us too for that matter.

"back" in the Heisman conversation? When has Nix ever been in it?

This is the year. Bo Nix has improved so much under this new offense. He’s focused. He’s having fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a dark horse for the Heisman.

Yikes- we really gonna do this after week 1?

The only certainty after week 1 is that Alabama is still the HMFIC in college football and especially the SEC.

Good performance, I'm not judging him for anything until I see him have the same poise and perf in games against teams that are worth more than a powdered shite.

If he does that every week, and the team goes 15-0, Bo has a shot.
