He graduated from Texas, but he is a West Texas kinda guy. Texas would have to blow him away with money.

I want to see Texas and Mark Cuban get into massive bidding wars over Beard and Drew, only for both of them to stay put so Texas and Indiana end up looking like chumps.

This will be interesting. The draw to Lubbock for Beard was his daughter being close. Austin is a long arse ways away but he has ties there. It’s also in league as well, so it would be a hard decision.
I think he stays at Tech. Much less pressure and he can accomplish the same things. Texas is by no means a blue blood or even a top 15 program.

He allegedly changed the header for his Twitter feed last night to the one that Tech made for him when he was first hired. I’for that’s true then it seems he would be staying.

World class arena, plenty of $$$$. Can't believe nobody is making a run at Mark Pope or the Darian Devries.
