No 1 seed in the tournament and the football program falling off a cliff.

Bruh if they're off the cliff we're watching it happen from the bottom of the ravine by comparison.

Nah, too hard to recruit there when Muss shows up with mug shots of Alabama's players and asks Grandmama if that's REALLY what she wants for her baby in college.

Their football program is just fine, it's just reload time.

It’s hard to be great at both long term, but plenty of football schools have had really good stretches of a decade or longer: Florida, Ohio St, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin come to mind in recent history.

Bama football went 11-2 and barely lost two games and apparently they suck. I do think it was due justice that LSU finally ruined their season but they’ll be fine

Nate Oats and the one and only coach Nick Saban.

Even from Mizzou, you can't be this clueless?

Bama wants to be a basketball school so bad. But their miserable arena will prevent that from happening.

That, and the black eye they received this year which will tarnish their program forever.

Speaking of stains, how long before that 65 points on the noggin in the natty washes away? Do you realize that TCU was on the short end of the worst beatdown in the history of championship games?

Teams that played Georgia in a more competitive game last year than they got in the national championship:

All of them

They've always gotten really good players, but never made it to that top level final four appearance. This could be their time

Regardless of the opinions people have about off the field stuff, they are very very good.

But Alabama will always be football first school. Thankfully, I think most sec schools really do want to become everything schools. So I guess they are both.
